Alex Monkey Balance Board - Improve your balance and coordination with the Alex Monkey Balance Board. Designed for ages three and up, the board supports balancers up to 200 pounds, making it suitable for the entire family to enjoy. Easy for adults to assemble, this balance board provides durability and fun that can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

Colorful Design Encourages Physical Activity

The Monkey Balance Board is designed to encourage physical activity by improving balance, coordination, and leg strength. To use it, kids can stand with one foot on either side of the board. Put one foot on the board before carefully adding the other and attempting to balance by shifting your weight from side to side. For fun and encouragement, the board is decorated with a playful purple monkey graphic on the surface that's sure to invite children of all ages to step aboard and try to balance.

Sturdy Construction Provides Durability

Formed of lightweight yet sturdy plywood, the Monkey Balance Board consists of four pieces held together by six screws. Once the basic assembly is complete, the board can support weight in excess of 200 pounds. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the board features a laminate coating on the surface to protect the monkey graphic from wear and tear.

Using the Monkey Balance Board

In testing, the Monkey Balance Board performed as described. Assembly took only a few minutes, and our testers (weighing as much as 200 pounds) found the board strong, supportive, and easy to use. However, the simple nature of balancing may cause some users to become bored after a few minutes of use. Still, younger children may find the activity useful for emulating skateboarding, surfing, and other activities they're too young for.

Children will learn important hand-eye coordination by using stencils to trace and outline shapes. The wipe away activity books will help kids with fine motor skills. Practice writing ABC’s and 123’s over and over again by using the included wipe away marker and wiping the pages clean with a damp cloth.

Designed Especially for Little Hands!: The Ready, Set, School! kit includes great tools to help little ones get started for school. The special spring loaded safety scissors will make it easy to learn to cut along the dotted lines of worksheets. Once they’ve mastered the scissors, the yellow spring can be flipped over for regular use. Triangular shaped crayons fit onto fingertips to make coloring fun and won’t roll off the table. Kids can learn to lace up laces and tie shoes with the shoe tying kit. The water based wipe away marker is non-toxic and safe to use over and over again on the four wipe away activity books.
