Mead MEA09956 Primary Journal K-2nd Grade - This is an amazing product that we are using for our 5-year old. He dictates his journal entry to one of us, then draws a picture to match, or he draws a picture then tells us what it is about and we write it in. The top of each page is plain white, and the bottom 2/3 to 1/2 of the page is lined (larger lines for their handwriting if they are writing). It has been so fun to see his language skills progress, and starting in first grade he will be writing some of his own journals or copy what he has dictated to us. Fosters creativity AND language skills! We plan to use these through most of Elementary school for all our children.
