Disney Sofia the First Exclusive 6 Piece PVC Figurine Set -
My two daughters (ages 3 and 5) really love the new Sofia The First TV Series. It is a cute story with cute characters. I would say it is geared towards younger, Disney Junior age kids due to the simple story and ages of the main characters. It is nice to finally have a Princess series on the Disney Channel for my girls to look forward to watching every week. This set is a great figurine set for the girls to play with. There aren't too many Sofia The First toys out there yet and this is a great one to start with. It comes with Sofia, Sofia's stepbrother Prince James and stepsister Princess Amber, the Fairies who teach at Royal Prep Academy (Sofia's new school), and some of Sofia's animal friends. It is a well made, quality set and the figurines seem pretty sturdy. My girls love playing with these and love using them for pretend play while acting out the shows. The one problem is that sellers on Amazon are selling this set for more than $25. We purchased the same exact set at the Disney Store in the mall for $12.50, which is the normal price for all of the Disney figurine sets. If you have a Disney Store near you, it is a much better deal there. That being said, it is a great set and highly recommended however you acquire it. Five Stars! -- By By Dre

My 3 and 4 year olds love this toy. It transforms easily and it is very durable. Chase is a good size too. I thought it was going to be smaller but it is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. The claw that came with Chase is always getting lost in the house because it can be detached. That is the only downfall but overall I would highly recommend for the preschool age group. My kids love Rescue Bots! -- By NOLA Sunflower

B. Woofer Guitar -
I got this for my daughter, who is almost 15 months; a bit under the recommended age, but we supervise her with everything. She LOVES this toy, and it makes us laugh. Three settings: acoustic, electric, and "howl", and boy, do we howl with laughter at the funny little songs it plays. It has a little bone-shaped whammy bar that plays a pre-recorded guitar bit. The strap has a velcro bit so you can open it (she was trying to put it around her neck, but I worried about her choking), and there are so many songs, not just the funny little dog parody songs, but instrumental ditties using acoustic, electric, and howl. True, it takes some effort to use the little strumming bit; it's not sensitive or intuitive. She's not interested in that part, though, and I tried it out at the store before I bought it, so I knew what we were getting into. It was a big hit. Sometimes we adults - parents, grandparents, and uncles - all play with it when she's sleeping. It's well-built, solid, super cute, and funny. Volume control, too, plus, if you bop him on the nose, he shuts up. :) The song parodies it does might teach your kids different words to common songs, like "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" is "Yip yip, bark bark, bow-wow-wow, how I wish dogs just me-owed, what a racket all night long...", "Fancy Poodle" for "Yankee Doodle", etc. I don't care, but some folks might. Bought this for my granddaughter for Valentine's Day and she loved it! She called it "Lovey." She loves the Webkinz and has 13 of them. Because she has so many she spends a great deal of time on the internet creating "things" for them. This has made a 7 year old quite proficient on the computer!
